I need part numbers for some items for swapping a longblock into the wife's 01 MR2 Spyder.

Manifold gaskets
exhaust manifold to head studs
set of spark plugs
accessory belt
Anything else you would recommend or know will need to be replaced at the same time

Thanks!

Hmm. There is not much to address on these compared to a lot of other engines, and I'm not terribly familiar with them. We may as well list all of the might-as-wells that are better done outside the car. These are not recommendations so much as options to be exercised at your discretion.

17171-22030 - Intake manifold gasket
17173-0D020 - Exhaust manifold gasket
90126-08037 - Exhaust manifold stud @ head (5 req'd)
90179-08228 - Nut for above (5 req'd)
90080-91184 - Spark plug (4 req'd)
99366-J1690 - Accessory drive belt

In case you separate the ehaust manifold from the downpipe:
90080-43036 - Gasket, exhaust manifold to pipe (2 req'd)
90080-17187 - Lock nut for above (3 req'd)

It's a good time to replace some basic engine seals:
90080-31049 - Front crank seal
90080-31050 - Rear crank seal
90301-22013 - O-ring for timing chain tensioner

You may want to replace the water pump and thermostat, and the belt tensioner can get noisy on 1ZZs:
16100-29415-83 - Water pump
91511-G0622 - Updated bolt for water pump (2 req'd)
90916-A3003 - Thermostat
16325-62010 - Thermostat gasket
16620-0W093 - Accessory drive belt tensioner

Thank you sir!

D'oh, knew I would forget something.. I'll need a set of 5spd flywheel bolts since I have to swap the flywheel over.

Whoops. I was going to add them from here but your order shipped out on Friday. I'll have to ask you to place a new order.

Flywheel bolt is 90910-02103 and there are eight of them. These are unusually expensive for OEM flywheel bolts. I was going to suggest a set of ARP bolts instead, but I don't see them listed in their catalog.

Ohhh, yeah, those are pricey. I did find a set of ARPs and they're much less. Thanks for the advice!

Excellent! ARP's online catalog does not list them for that application. Where did you find them?

MWR (monkeywrench racing) sells them. Apparently the same bolts can be used for the 1zz, 2zz and 2gr, but I'm not sure what else as I don't see any of those options on their catalog.
