Anything is possible with enough money and knowledge. This would be one of those ventures which requires a great deal of both, either before it's done to ensure it's safe and effective, or after it's done to pay for the fines and medical bills.

I heard of a place in Florida who did it with a Tacoma. But I'm not a fan of a 5 speed. I want 6. And now that I'm thinking about it my car would require extensive modification to do it. Sad face.

Although it would be cheaper than trying to make a 1zz or 2zz RWD....and it's a bigger I4....now I'm thinking. That's bad for me.

It can be done, but I'm thinking you'll be into tube chassis territory. Or you could make it MR.

Yeah, IIRC the only celica that a RWD conversion is feasible (besides generations 1-3 that were RWD stock) would be the 6th generation that had the same body shared between the 4wd and 2wd versions.

Of course, if you want to cut and fab and spend, you can make almost anything rwd
