I bought this car for Jennifer last week. 2004 Infiniti G35. Black with black leather interior. 17in wheels. It has 74,000 miles on it. Paid $7,700 cash for it. was trying hard to get it for 7k but the owner was asking 11k for it and I had a hard time getting it for what I did. It's what the wife wanted so it is what it is. It's a damn fine riding car though. Very quiet inside of the cabin. The motor is strong and quite frankly I have fallen in love with the car. So now I kind of want a G35 coupe. Idk, Sometime next spring I am going to buy me another car. It will be a luxury class car but I haven't decided whether it will be a coupe or a sedan. All I know is that I'm getting older and I want to daily drive something that is comfy.

It did have a few problems that I didn't much like but I will have fixed in the coming weeks. The armrest had a tear in the leather and there are some scuff marks on the bumper and passenger door. There is also a small dent on the rear passenger door that is hard to spot given the car is black. Those things alone may have been deal breakers for me but Jennifer wanted the car and those are fixable. Other than that the car is very clean. The engine compartment is very clean. The under carriage is very clean. The interior is nice and clean. No leaks of any kind. Scheduled maintenance was done on time. It had brand new tires on it.

I have a family. So a sedan is necessary. I'm likely going to buy myself a sedan when the time comes. Either another G35 or a MB E Class. Sedans just ride more comfortably. One sport car is enough for me. :hehe:

A coworker has the coupe 6speed model. It's a nice car, but not my style. The clutch on his (its all stock) chatters more than my solid ACT 6puck does.

Our 626 had a reliable motor but the worst transmission ever. It was on it its third transmission when I sold it at 162,000 miles. Those transmissions are a royal pita to to get out and install.
