Some final touches. Still missing the mouldings and one fog light but so far so good. Wish me luck trying to source the damn mouldings and the fog light :(

Looking good. And good luck on finding the molding. IT can be a pain. Maybe check st162.net?

I love the paint, might be a PITA to keep clean though.

I am thinking about doing a flat color paint job soon.

So when are you bringing it to the track. :)

After I...

Rebuild my distributor (internal oil leak)
5 speed swap/rear main leak
Rear disc conversion
New springs
New poly bushings
Rear strut bar.

Possibly new short block. If thats the case I'll just toss in a new engine :D

I have 1 fog light. I just need to find another!

Why new short block?

I suspect problems with the rings as I'm nearing 200k. I'm thinking though of picking up an early 5sfe block and head and using all my electronics.

Mike, run a leakdown & compression test. That'll show you if you have any ring problems.

^Not always.

From the amount of blow by plus what I saw when I did the head gasket makes me suspect its the rings.

So put new rings in it and new bearings.

Easier said than done. This is my only car with no garage. Not even pavement, just unkept grass.

Hahaha. Its OK I'll manage. On the bright side I've sourced the moldings and the fog light with the OEM interior switch.

Looks boring - try metallic paint

or some shock treatment rims

C/F is the "in" matte look
