A LHD skyline, what a tragedy :( Those cars were always meant to stay RHD :)

How do you go from a corolla to a GTR, where did you get your genie at?

I'm just a car whore.

The car held the top two times for the day.

So how did you like driving a car that does all the work?

Um... no traction control or vsc with the car. And it doesn't have the auto shocks anymore. Basically like driving an evo with 598awhp and 345 hoosier A6s!.

I tried my best to get fast time of day, but a Formula Ford had to ruin it.

I am curious how its awd system compares to the Evos. But I am sure the ATTESA-E-TS system does a lot in favor of the driver.

Yaw control/power split. I dunno how different they operate but as a driver they feel very, very similar.

You suck. That is all.

I know. Sadly, I think the GTR ruined me. Getting back into the 5SFE powered celica and hitting the gas makes me cry a little.

This is the only part of this thread that I approve of

If you drive one it'll make you car feel like junk.

So does this mean there is an engine swap in your future? I got to drive a 500+ hp fd once and it made me feel like I did not need that sort of power in a Rwd car.

Ha, no. The simple acceleration of that car was crazy, and it was super fast and you can still live with it every day.

In the end, even though the car maybe faster; I think the c prepared mustang (around 500rwhp) is still more fun. Stripped, gutted, caged on big full racing slicks with little to no exhaust just assaults you in every way; the noise, the sound, the violence of the car just makes for more entertainment. The GTR never felt like it was out of control, never ready to hurt you (except the first cold tire run), whereas the mustang is like walking a scalpel edge between fast and spin.

I had read that being one complaint between the evo VII to the next version that got ACD. The ACD made it faster, but it was not as fun. I feel like my alltrac is more fun than my Z. The Z is easier to drive fast, but the alltrac feels wild, like you riding a bull.

I don't think I've ever driven a VII so I couldn't tell ya.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed going fast. It's just the difference between race car and street car I guess.
