I have CELICA GT 2004, It has 6-speed tranny, and blown GT engine vvt-i and I installed GTS engine vvtl-i in it, It started good, but what else do I need to replace maybe wire harness and copmuter?

Did you swap the tranny in too, cuz the GT's didn't come with 6speeds, they came 4 speed auto or 5 speed manual? Also, please better explain what is working, and what is not working.

Owner before me he swappet tranny, Tranny work fine, now I installed GTS engine it started, but I havent driven it yet, Now I have problem with, GT celica's exaust doesnt fit to GTS engine, and Im having trouble with coolant hoses I have couple extra ones wich i dont know where they going Im thinking that GTS has different coolant reserviour? and people saying I need to change computer and wire-harness is it true, and what else I need to replace

Yes, You need the GTS ecu at the least. the GT on wont control lift.

what about wires?

I haven't done (or seen) this swap, but if it's like most toyota>toyota swaps you'll need to splice the old and new harness together.

Do you have any ideas what kind?

I know you need to add the Lift circuits to the harness. Other than that I have no idea since I have never done the swap. Look up the wiring diagram on each engine and see whats different. Then you will know.

Id go to mr2oc.com and do what the Spyder guys do when they swap. Should be exactly the same thing for you.

There's a lot of information for this over on newcelica.org. For starters, I know you need at least one new engine mount and a GT-S mid pipe for the exhaust. You'll need the ECU and harness for a 2ZZ as well, and the harness is plug and play if I'm not mistaken- at least I've never seen any posts saying otherwise.

the 6 speed came in the GT overseas, so that answers that part. as for the swap, you need a GTS header, ECU, passenger engine mount, and need to add wiring to run the lift. i have it all documented here.

The GT downpipe will not fit the GTS header so that will need to be modified or you need a GTS downpipe.

you will have to change the pins on the plug for the TPS sensor.

you need a GTS heater hose from the head to the heater core. the hose with the big dip in it will fit fine.

you also need the GTS throttle cable from the cruise to the TB.

Yes I noticed exhaust wont fit

So im getting Header, ECU, my mount is fine I used GTS mount.

I have a stupid problem. Im trying to install coolant reserviour but I cant fine hose that goes in radiator to add coolant

here is the picture of my problem on that engine

I have no idea where that pipe for coolant reserviour goes to and I have no wires and hoses goes to the vacum thing on the left

you fill the radiator with the coolant reservoir. read the stickys above. i have posted all of this information.
