Hi everybody,

I need to change my clutch on my GT4 RC since it is starting to slip and i would like to know which clutch kit to choose with the following.
My HP is at 250 right now and i would probably go to 350BHP max in the future!

What would be your recommendation with the following and if you have any other models you had good experienced with i'll listen to your adivices!

-Exedy Racing - Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit Stage 2 Cerametallic ClutchThick Disc

-ACT Clutch Kit - Heavy Duty (HD) HD Clutch KitPerformance Street Disc (SS)

-Clutch Masters FX100 Clutch Kit(OR FX200)

Thanks for the help!

I've got an Excedy in mine and I"m really happy with it.

Do a search and you'll find several posts covering clutch recommendations. They have a lot of good information in them.

You will probably be ok with an uprated pressure plate and organic disc..
Next step is uprated plate and 6 puk disc..

word of note a lot of 205's out there rining 300-350hp on a stock clutch all depends if you like to launch or not....

OEM one has been in mine for 5 yrs and 300hp...

Be wary of the ACT units.

Once I tear mine down I'll figure out what broke, but my ACT TC4-HDR6 clutch kit failed with 30-40 miles on it and regular driving (no hard launches, slipping the clutch, etc).

Tim probably put the disk in backwards.

I have the Clutchmasters FX200 (full face kevlar) in my 205, very smooth, painfully long break in

I've got a Southbend and it is great! very soft pedal feel. rated for 350 HP and it's like driving a civic in traffic, love it.

How noisy is the south bend? I had been thinking about them for a while.
