First event this year. I ran GS in my celica gt-s with nothing but 205 r888 tires and a rear sway bar. I got beat in pax by the BS S2000 cr on hoosiers but that was it.

The rear bar is the only reason i decided to run GS this year. It makes the celica super fun to drive

Event 2 (http://gulfcoastregionscca.org/results/2-19-12raw.htm)

Yes the top 3 times that were in competition were my MR2. I did get beat in my own car by a better driver. I had a 33.4xx but coned it away. The times not post in results were 2 ss covettes and a str s2000. I have decided that a 225 is not enough tire for the front and that the wilwood brakes are over kill for that tiny tire. I will be flaring my MR2 in the near future I guess.

Screw flares, just cut and stick out.

trying to decide how far i want to stick out now....17x9 or 17x10 in the front? and either 17x10, 17x11 or 18x11 in the rear

Well, I have all road racing tires on my racing wheels now. I still went out and did the 3rd event and ran DSP in my blue celica on RA1. It was on an Air Force base so no pictures or video was allowed. Great surface and a long course. I wish this could be our regular site. I was getting slaughtered by the better cars and fighting for grip. My tires never got hot enough to stick.
