Is there any reason you need to commission a shop so far to do this work?

There are people in Canada. Even Klue has a shop and has made brake upgrades for us. Depending on budget there are. Some ready made kits that already exist. There is a wilwood kit I think in the 800 range on eBay.

It looks like their price has gone up again. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Big-Brake-Kit-CELICA-94-99-13-4-piston-Wilwood-caliprs-/150663041168?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item2314379090#ht_2183wt_907

For less money you can do the porsche bbk upgrade. A member from alltrac.net had a set of brackets made so one could use sti rotors and porsche calipers. I would have likely done this one, but I already have 205 calipers I plan on fitting.

hmmm so porche calipers. I kinda lack in knowledge on this but i'm guessing the porche calipers are as good as wilwood and brembo. right? know what the model # could be? i was never able to redgister on alltrac.net properly.

Here is a thread related. The porsche calipers are made by brembo.

I actually have the brakets from the ebay kit from my alltrac, they use supra tt rotors redrilled and rehubed. pretty good kit for the money. I reused the calipers and rotors on my mr2 but oredered new brackets. It is the best kit for the money though.

No, he bought the ebay ones I first mentioned. There have been a few reviews of the porsche brakes on the other forum.

yeah I'm racking up the overtime at work because i am looking a lot at the Wilwood kit i am currently in contact with the seller he also made me a rear kit with hand break hubs for 1400. so far I'm hitting 2500-2700 for the break kit with shipping (if i can i might try to go get it if its cheaper that way). Its a bit much but nothing should be left to being cheap. I am saving money compared from ordering from Wilwood directly. This being said i save nearly 1000$ and spend maybe 1000$ more than the used Porsche calipers. I love my Celica too much i wouldn't want to put used calipers to save money and risk a screw up.
