The only thing I can think is road racing where a sequential is not allowed. Clutchless upshifts but you still need to rev match to downshift.

I bet those are noisy as fuck with those straight gears.

I wouldnt mind noisy gears. Lol. Ive been wanting to get them for a while eventho I know its overkill.

So I can get my tranny dog, converted into a normal dog? Do I get to pick male or female?

On a serious note, I think this is more for rally. When you watch a rally vid and you hear the crazy whinning noise, thats the tranny gears.

Yeah that 870 awhp celica is pats alltrac. And he kept having issues from first to second.

I taken my car to the track a few times and tranny is doing good. Granted I'm not launching with all 800 ponies but that's what boost by gear is for.

I'm keeping this in mind in case I have issues but we will see. I think dog boxes are more for road racing and drag applications. But then again subarus and evos are known for having a dogbox once they go above 500whp.

^If I wanted to compete in drag racing I wouldn't be using a manual tranny. I never understood the guys with the Supras and stuff keeping the manual transmissions.

^ Unfortunately in the MR2 chassis there is no chance to run an auto tranny. Most I can do is get a dogbox but still keeing it fwd setup. And even then all the so called automatics are not even automatic. Starting from your th350-400 up to a gforce tranny or a lencos for that matter.
