I am curious to know if any of you have any detailed information regarding a st165 celica alltrac getting a st205 swap. I have this 88 all trac in my garage, and I am mainly curious to know what others have done, st205 drivetrain swaps, etc. I currently own a mr2 mk1.5 with a gen3, and I am getting tired of looking at this engineless all trac! I do have all of the original pieces, but I keep looking at these st205 halfcuts, and was wondering what others have done in detail. I will keep searching in the meantime. Thanks in advance!

Just throw the 205 3s, w/ ecu and harness, in there and ride. Everything else is just personal preferance.

I figured that part as such, I was inclined to know if the P/S pump will need different bracket, and mainly in I can use the st205 Transmission/Drivetrain if I so choose... I currently race a mr2 mk1.5 as a Time Trials car, and I am wondering what I can do with this alltrac that sits here to piss of other all wheel drive cars. I am also seeing this car weighed 4000 lbs. from the factory, gonna need a big diet! Please, those who have done this, let me know what you have gone through.

Pretty common here
The 205 box is a nice upgrade, try to get the brakes as well

Cams - 272 HKS
Pistons - JE 87mm
Rods - Scat
Flywheel - lightweight (?)
ECU - Link
Turbo - Garret T30xxx
Exhaust - 3in
Injectors - 850cc
ARP head, main, flywheel bolts
HKS - Cambelt & pulleys

Yeah, dunno what's with the TRD sticker?

Never seen his flywheel before?

How's this for tuff?

Making 275

Guys here like to fit a cooler on the box
The stock wta intercooler is retained but a far larger alu radiator and huge alu IC radiator is fitted up front - far less lag, piping and pipes bursting.
The main complaint is heat, any worked GTE is bound to make a lot more heat, most are using the CS scoop to try
and keep temps down

This motor went on the dyno this week - 170 wKW@10psi - THAT'S ^&*% IMPRESSIVE!
Next week the boost goes up to 20psi and expect to see some serious numbers for this motor.
