So I'm still kind of new to the Celica game here, and for the life of me I cannot seem to find where the clutch slave cylinder is on my '94 GT.

Obviously a picture would be great, but a description in relation to other easily recognizable parts would be great, too. The picture in the Haynes manual wasn't too helpful...

Can't shake feeling like a noob for even having to ask this. Thanks for any help

That line right under the turbo is the slave cylinder. Facing the engine, it should be on the front upper of the transmission housing by the starter. Looking on top of the the transmission you can follow the hydraliuc line from the master cylinder (brake fluid resoivior) to the front of the transmission.

It'll be under the air intake box, on the driver's side (for LHD cars) of the engine bay, on top of the gearbox. Just follow the hydraulic line from the master.

Thanks for the quick responses! So, should it be immediately accessible from underneath the car, or would I have to remove any skid plates, etc. to get to it?

I'd go have another look for myself, but it's raining outside, and I want to be ready when I have the chance to work on it again.

No, from the hood.

Open the hood. To the left of the airbox it will sit on the transmission.

You can follow the line from the master cylinder on the firewall to the slave. It's the only hydralic line that runs on top of the transmission forward.
