The story behind RESURECTION. This is my 90 Celica GT. I purchased it during high school back in 2002 it was such a fun car but I wanted a truck, so I traded it in for a tacoma in 2004. After I traded in my celica I regretted it and wished I never had done so. In late 2004 I got a call from a friend of mine that he found my celica at the local junk yard. I went down to check it out and sure enough it was my celica the owner after me blew the engine and got t-boned on the passenger side. I couldn't resist buying it back and I picked it up for 200.00. Then the fun began I rebuilt the engine new crank, pistons, block the only things I kept that was good from the old engine was the head and water pump everything else is new. The rear bumper was a little damaged and the front bumper was gone. I decided to go show with the build and do what I can with the 5sfe it will be na with as much custom built as I can do on my own. I have a vader kit on it right now cause it was cheap. I also have a set of 17 inch rims that I really like the look of. I will post pics as soon as I can get them to load from my phone.

My future plans for this project are custom built header, cold air intake, and full dual exhaust, pop up headlight delete, shaved corner, and bumper lights, jdm fender lights, shaved rear wiper. I'm going to reshape the opening of the front bumper as I'm not a big fan of how the vader bumper looks. Rear disc upgrade and I'm planing on customizing the hood with a custom scoop I just haven't made up my mind on what its going to look like yet. I'm currently looking for the rest of my progress pics to add here and I will take better pics of all future modifications and upgrades.
