I have a 2000 Celica with Lowering spring and air shocks on the car right now.
The rear shocks have gone bad and need to be replaced and I can get a set of stock shocks for free.

So my question is can I put the stock rear shocks on with the lowering spings?

If not I can also got the stock rear springs as well but does that cause any issues with have the front end still lowered and the rear back up to stock.

I relise I should just redo it all but I'm trying to avoid putting much money into this.

Any help will be awesome......Thanks All

yes you can as Nut says but keep in mind stock struts for the most part prematurely wears out when used with lowering springs. But you definitely can use stock struts with lowering springs.

It may not ride well... You'd be best off matching springs with uprated shocks.

Ran my 93 ST with H&R springs and stock struts. Sold it with over 150k miles on it and no issues. I have never seen any proof that stock struts will die faster with any lowering springs. Hear A LOT of stories of friends of friends and so on but have NEVER seen proof of earlier failing.

Nice Thanks All.

Also is there any issues in using the rear shocks off from a GTS on my GT?
