Hi everyone my names Daniel aka Awesome-trac! Ive been recommended to this site alot and happy to be apart of it now. Well to start it off, i drive a ST184 1990 Celica GT-S converted into a Alltrac "yes i love the car that much to actually clone it" even tho it only has a 2.2L. My second car is ST165 88 Celica Alltrac which i bought for 750.00...i Love the car but the problems are killing me and my wallet. Overall i cant wait to see what else i can learn about my car and the feedback to make it run even better.

Welcome. I'm curious, does the 184 actually have the modifications to the chassis to make a working AWD vehicle and everything? Or is it actually a "Half-trac"? If it is, indeed, an AWD alltrac... I'd like to see a write up on what all you modded.

Im guessing he added AWD and kept the 5SFE...

From what he's said over on AT.net, he's got all trac hood and the like, not a all trac running gear.

lol...the ST184 is is just a GT-S which is a look a like Alltrac "its my commuter car" no work done to the drivetrain meaning not a AWD conversion. Even if i wanted to do that it wont work cause the GTS model has a very small driveshaft tunnel which is where the exhaust goes through and would require fubrication in order for it to work

That's why I wanted to see if you had actually done that or not. Cause that'd be baller.

If i had the money to do that id rather put it on a 6th gen rather then the 5th gen....ST185 can be found in the states so why waste money on doing that

Your car would be considered a "Quarter-Trac". If you had the 3S turbo engine, youd be a "Half-Trac" :p
