Well I have this SARD Analyse ecu in my parts car...'91 JDM GT-four. Does anyone have any idea about it, like what's different about the tuning, power etc? I've searched everywhere online that I can think of, and so far all I know is that they don't make them any more.

Analyse is an ECU set to provide alteration of high boost & rev control at high speed driving, and provides accurate engine control in various conditions, such as partial range, street driving, and engine idling.

Resetting items of Analyse:
* Fuel map resetting.
* Ignition map resetting.
* Rev limiter resetting.
* Speed limiter cancellation.
* Boost limiter cancellation.

It's strongly required to use high-octane gasoline after the replacement of ECU (in Japan "high-octane gasoline" values is 100~101%.

They're rare and expensive if you have one. They aren't typically desirable because you can have a programmable one for much less, producing more power.

Pretty sweet though! Pics?!

I can't post pics yet...

I used to have one in my car.

The fuel and timing maps are tuned a lot better than the stock ecu. I noticed more power and better throttle response over the stock ecu. The idle is also bumped up to around 950rpm from the stock 800rpm. This is really a good thing and something I miss about the ecu. With the higher idle, your whole engine sounds smoother and your alternator produces more power at idle.

I'll give you $20 for it.

the problem with these ECU's (sard, mines, toms, ect...) is that they are tuned per customers specs. unless you know those, you are shooting in the dark at a flea on your favorite animal with a BMG 50.

^ Yeah that's why I'm leery to stick it in my car. I'll probably keep it with the engine & harness it's currently attached to when I swap it into my AE95. If there was some way to tell what the changes are, that would be one thing; but I'd rather not fry an engine.

$20 lol.

Edit: Thanks for posting the pic, CBB...I have another couple of days to go before I can post links.

$10?

Srsly. I have a wideband. I could always try it for you.

On the plus side though, you know that Tom's or SARD or Mines aren't too likely to do something *too* insane to the ECU (vs what the engine can handle)

Is there a serial number you could shoot to Sard to try and get some specs?

Well that blows.

$30 for a sick paperweight cause I'm not ballsy enough to try running it.

Well I'm going to run it on the engine it came with. When I took the car for a test drive there was no pinging and it ran like a top.

30? I'll take it.

So would anyone else since you could sell it for much more, but if ya stick with the 30, I'll be happy to take it :P
