I'm leaning toward an ACT HD clutch, but just wondering what you guys are running?

I'm running a 205 swap + GT3071 w/mbc at 13 psi. Current Exedy clutch is starting to slip.

Cheers.

How does it drive, compared to...say, a Spec Stage 2? I've never driven a 6-puck clutch, that I know of.

for street cars, I always run full face, sprung hub clutches. They are Very streetable. When you start running puck clutches, you start running into chatter issues.

I personally will be running an ACT full face with extreme pressure plate. Sure it will be heavier, but I have strong legs.

Competition clutch stage 4 is pretty good. Might take a while to to get use to but, definitely will get the job done.

Personally I would buy my clutch from ATS... they get specially made clutchmasters clutches that were custom built for your horsepower levels. they have stage 1, 3, 4, and 6... dont ask me why they dont have a stage 2 or 5 clutch.

I'm running this same set up except with a JDM ST-185 w/ a V6 Solara trans and I love the clutch, much better than the shitty stage 3 Clutchmasters I had before (absolute garbage will never buy CM again) I grew tired of spring related issues on clutches so went un-sprung, she was my DD for a while and I drove her in heavy traffic with no problems for a good few months

I have the ATS Clutchmasters Stg4. I did a lot of research on clutches. I've owned both ACT 6 puck HD and extreme and wanted to try something else out. I'll report back how I like it when I get it installed. It's supposed to blow the ACT out of the water with it's drivability though.

I have clutchmasters stage 2 in my mr2 and stage 3 in my st205. I wouldn't use the release bearing provided, I regret not using oem ones. The drivability on both are amazing and even better on the stage 3.

Yea the drivablity on the Stage 3 CM wasn't bad at all, but after about 14k miles the clutch disk itself started to separate from the center part of the disk where the rivets were
