View Full Version : What's the connector shape for the ST205 intake temp sensor?

Is it the same as any of the other connectors on the harness? Any of the VSVs? Anything on the 5SFE harness?
I need to get a temp sensor and I don't know if it's going to come with the connector.
It would be nice if one of the other connectors worked and I could just swap it over.

And while I'm at it, does anyone have one floating around FS? :)

Ive checked both my Gen2 3S harness and my 7th gen harness.. I cant find a single one that goes to it correctly. I DO know you can buy that plug and pin it from Dr Tweak. He has it. I also posted in your other thread. I do have a Gen3 MAT sensor (the one youre looking for) for sale though. Just dont have a pigtail for it.

If I remember correctly the basic 6th gen plug is the same. Its been a while since I got mine. I am thinking I used some old afm wires and repurposed them for this sensor in my swap.

Edit: you can always use toyodiy to figure out if the part numbers for the sensor are the same.

I'm actually looking for the MAT [Manifold Air Temp] sensor/connector info.
The IAT sensor is the same for the 5SFE.

That's my fault for the confusion, sorry.

I'm pretty sure I have a 5sfe IAT sensor and harness plug.

I think I had to cut the MAT sensor from my 205 harness and use it on my 185 harness.

Read the whole thread goofball. :)
I'm looking for the Manifold Temp Sensor, not the one in the air filter box.

Ahh. Thought you was saying the MAT sensor for the ST205 and IAT sensor for the 5s were the same.

Just a small update, for general FYI.

I dug up an older MAT [Manifold Air Temp] sensor; not from an ST205. The wiring pins on the connector are the same as the CSI connector.
The plastic connector itself isn't.
Assuming the ST205 pins are the same also, you won't need to cut any wires, just replace the plastic connector.
You just need to know how to repin a connector.

The shell is 90980-11025 for the gen3 3sgte MAT sensor connector

I bought one myself a few years ago, it was about $6 for the shell back then, I think it's up to $7-9 now.
