Jap import? Could you be a bit more specific? What is different on it? Is it a RHD vs. LHD?

Lithia Toyota could prolly get whatever you need.

So what makes your ST202 different? What makes it "the jap import?"

Find a large hill, go down it.

Find a large hill, go down it.

Also, put bricks in the trunk. Inertia is a property of matter, so more mass = more matter = more inertia = more fun rolling down a hill!

Buy a GT-Four.250 bhp, easy mods get towards 300bhp.Job done.

What engine do you have? 5sfe (2.2L) or a 3sge (2.0L)?

You could also have a beams, but I think those only came with the SuperStrut suspension.

Honestly, since you didn't pick up an ST205, the best thing you can do is upgrade the suspension and lighten it to make it faster in the corners. If you are looking for more straight line speed, then its easier to start with a GT4 as there is more power there.

If you are willing to go into the engine, you could just pick up an engine for the GT4 and then you'll be faster than a stock GT4 due to weight differences.....

It will be lighter since it will be two wheel drive only.
