So, I'll soon be in the market to find a bodykit for my AT180. Now, the cheapest is the Vader1 bodykit. I like the rear bumper, the sideskirts work, but I hate the nose. I'd love to get my hands on the gt4 front bumper, or maybe something custom. I think I may buy the vader kit and sell off the nose. Do you think it would sell? Or does everyone else agree with me in saying the vader nose looks horrible?
I was thinking that maybe a custom lip or diffuser would look good.

I always thought this was the best looking front in for the non GT-4 5th Gen celica

This is just my opinion, but for the most part I hate body kits. I haven't seen one yet that I like for Celicas. If I were looking to make a Celica more badass looking, I'd get the CS bumper and hood and the wide body fenders.

Although a rear diffuser for under the back would be bad a$$ like on the Skylines

IMO, the 5th gen rear bumper sticks way too far out. That's my greatest peeve with my stock body.

Or this

Both of these are my car which is a 90 GTS. When I first got it years ago I put the vader kit on it. the crappy fiberglass kit. I had it on for about a year before I grew tired of the look and put the stock bumpers back on. After I swapped motors I installed the Alltrac hood and the RC front bumper. You can't beat the subtle yet aggressive look. Just say no to body kits. Let the fad die with dignity.

Besides, for the cost of a body kit you can buy the RC bumper and an Alltrac hood.

The only justification I could find for any of the components of a body kit would be to hide some really bad rocker panel rust.

You just can't beat the lines of a 5th gen - especially a widebody with the right wheels.

no offense to anyone with a body kit, but why ruin a perfectly good car with some bullshit fiberglass add ons that only make your car stand out. And by stand out I mean like a huge puss filled zit right in the middle of a supermodels forehead. Its like Oooo!? awwww... :sadpanda:

I've settled on it. I'm buying a new rear bumper, a slimmer one, and looking for that RC front.

Umm, any sources on that RC bumper?

I agree with you on the slimmer rear bumper. Which one are you looking at? as for the RC bumper, the local toyota dealership is the best bet as otherwise shipping will kill you.

I live in Hawaii, "shipping not included" will be chiseled on my tombstone :\

I haven't the slightest clue where you would source the RC bumper in Hawaii, but I'm glad to hear that you decided on the RC front end. It just looks so sexy on Celicas.

I think I may see if the dealership can even get it. Does anyone have a part number?

u could get a 90-91 front bumper and cut out the teeth in the bumper and get a semi rally look, i did it to mine and i like it:) not as much as the cs bumper but its a lot cheaper and free if u already have the bumper on the car:)
