MX3 can't be registered 'cause it apparently has a bad title and no paper trail.

Anybody have any experience in title bonds (in GA?), or any idea how I can get a car registered? I have the title, but it has been signed over to somebody, who then scribbled it over to me. It has not been registered since '08.

Bonded titles (at least in AZ) you pay 10% of the cars value to get a title.

Here's what I found quick on google..

Might as well fill out some forms. $125 is more than I really want to pay, but that seems to be my only choice since I can't sell the thing.

had this crap happen when I bought my CRX, car was sold to a guy who sold it to the guy I got it off of. Well the guy before never put it in his name and forged the previous owners info onto it, made a slip and scribbled it out. after about 2 years the guy I got it from went to title it to sell it to me, but with the scribble we had to locate the guy who had it in his name still and have him retitle it. Yeah, it wasn't fun... but that may be something to try
