Ahh, also make sure that you get the CS/RC unit (same as the ST165), as the standard Air/Air throttle body inlet is 10mm smaller.

have the parts counter look up the part for a standard 1988 ST165 Celica. It's the same as the ST185 RC/CS

In the US it's a pain to get these parts, so I am just going to make a stubbie inlet out of alluminum, then use a short silicone connector

If you don't have the tools to fabricate a metal one there's a couple vendors which make them.

True.

I think you could cut it and use a rubber coupler but it would probably be better to just find a 165 inlet or fabricate a shorter metal one.

Best Bet for him... ST165/RC coupler. Toyota will have less of a hard time looking it up as a ST165 coupler.

I've got a new Toyota 165 coupler if someone needs it.. Bought to try and use for the 205 WTA but I couldn't get it to stretch over the core outlet.

Is the 185 inlet 2.25" and the 165 inlet 2.5"?
