Ok guys, first off, i did a search for this and i didnt find really what i was looking for. I was wondering what it would take to make a tien suspension for the 185 alltrac to work on a 92 5th gen gt? I remember hearing about possilbe modifications to make them work and honestly, that kinda makes me nervous seeing as theese hold alot of weight. Also, what about the JIC coil overs? anyone using them or have any idea about what it would take to make them work?

One of the members on Celica.net had the Tein coilovers set up for his ST. I'm pretty sure he just needed to make some new holes where the bottom bolts to the suspension.

I wish I had more precise info, but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Do you perhaps remember who had them on?

Nope. He was from New York. It wouldn't really matter anyways - he's not a member here (as far as I've seen) and that board is gone.

Now that I think about it, there is a member here with the name whitecelionteins. Maybe he has the coilover kit as well...you should search him out and PM him about it.

i have a set of JDM JIC SA-1 coilovers on my ST185... no idea how to fit them to the lower models but if u have any questions about the coil overs themselves, ask.

Yes... I'm using a Type HA Suspension on my ST, it was meant for an ST185... If you have an ST, GT ot G-TS(90-93) model go with JIC's(use ST183 Appl) they've lowered they're prices to compete with Tein and others...

The reason why I've decided not to post or tell anyone how i've fitted the HA's on my ST is because its dangerous and regret how I did it...
