Do we really need to isolate gens even further? It's bad enough people insist on posting about their overheating issues in the 5th gen forum instead of maintenance.

I'd agree. I wouldn't want to segregate things even more.

So go to "My Project" and look for "4th gen" in the thread title...

Most people dont put the gen in the title, they simply use the cars name. How am I supposed to keep up with everyones cars name.
Segregation is for the best.

Racist bastard.

+1

Why not just subscribe to all the 4th gen projects?

I like having them all mixed cause I will look at lots of nice cars and possibly get idea's for my own.
Ex. Andy's or someone else's LED display for temp and such. Wouldn't have seen that with segragation cause I wouldn't browse first gen section often.

Plus my project doesn't fit in any of the gens.

ditto

It'd be a cute feature, but not something I would want as part of the site if it meant segregating all the projects.

If we had generation post icons we could modify the posts to reflect the generation.

That would be cool. Just something to make searching easier. Maybe we need to set a standard for project titles to include gen or year.
