So I am doing the rear drum to disc conversion on my 90 GT. I have calipers from a 93 GT. I have them both apart expect for one thing, and I am very stuck on it.
Sorry for the bad quality pic. I am asking this for the rear caliper's, the front calipers do not have this.

I have gotten both sliders out But there is a second one it seems?
This is a pic of the slider I got out of this side but I don't know how to get the other part off at all, nor do I know what it is.

As you can see in the pic below the other side of the caliper did not have this.

If anyone knows how to get this out or weather it comes out or not please let me know. Next step after that is to sandblast and powder coat. Thanks.

My rebuild kit just came with the seals. No new boots or anything so I think there are two kits and I only got one of them. I also think it is one whole piece that comes out but I cannot get it. Buying remand calipers is not an option for me.
