A2W intercooler :) I'm looking for something to shield the bottom of my st205 intercooler but its not easy finding quality stuff for less than $50 what do you guys recommend? Do I need to raise my budget? I have my turbo heat shield off right now but that will go back on today. This didn't bother me too much until now that I retarded my exh cam. Before my exh mani temps would be 7-800 and now they are 900+ degrees all the time

Summit has some decent stuff I believe within your budget. But I traditionally went shielding free.

Adhesive backed mylar (the silvery looking stuff). It's paper thin and it reflects about 98% radiated. Buy it at home depot or similar hardware store, it's also cheap. I cover the entire intake tract with that stuff.

I had an old hood blanket laying around that I cut up to make a little insulator out of. I have no idea if it was effective or not though.

Thanks but ill just spend some money to make this crap fit perfect. I looked around online at home depot.com and didn't see it.

I just put the stock heat shield back on. Man, it was a PITA trimming the shield with a dremel so my 02 sensor and my alt. shield could be taken out with still leaving the turbo shield on. Time to buy a air cut off tool :)
