Nope, just look at the badge on the back, just a plain GT.

I have an STX, not sure what its supposed to mean. It has no options like power windows ect, so maybe the X means bare minimum?

I wouldn't trust anything from an ebay seller who can't spell correctly.

Its the especial fantastico edicion. Trust that when reading the description, a Cheech Marin voice works best.

Doesnt the X indicate dealer added options?

Unless the dealer added an auto trans to my STX, it has no options.

It's a 7th Gen, so no, the X does not indicate dealer options, as they didn't really change up much... now the 5th and 6th gens had x variants, I know the STX was basically a full power car and had all the base GT options (power mirrors, windows, sunroof, tweeters in the front) typically. The GTX... I have no idea about.

STX WAS a "dealer installed option" but had nothing to do with power options - only trim options as far as I know.

I have a '92 STX that has manual everything - windows, mirrors, seats, transmission - and no cruise either. It does have a radio PLUS a cassette deck! (WOW :))

Yet it DOES also have a big "STX" stripe across the lower part of each side of the body, and also has the GT style spoiler with the stop light in it - which a regular ST does not have.

I dont trust it i would have if the back said gtx instead of just gt.. plus to many stickers and stuff for my taste anyway. Still which i could have a 7th gen my 5th gen is alright but the 7th gen is what really got me into liking celica's

I had a 5th gen STX as well. Same as Klapas. Has silver STX logos on the doors at the bottom, and a spoiler like a GT. Also had manual everything. That car sucked LOL.

Well - I don't consider that my STX "sucks".

It has the little 4AFE and is not so powerful - but it handles just like a Celica and is fun to drive. It must be the most reliable car I have ever had and is always there ready to go - when the GTs and Alltracs have one of their many "moods".

Added to the above - the body on this car is nearly pristine.

So - I'll think I'll keep it even if it "sucks" - thanyouverymuch - but a GTX it ain't.

I had a GTX back in the day - a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX with a 426 Hemi. A different animal - and time - altogether.
