I had designs of using just the flange and making a custom header with my tube bender but I had the car in for freshing up after a long winter, CV axles, clutch and aluminum flywheel ect so I just decided to put the camry header on as is. I know it's all been done before but here's my version...

Only thing different I did was to graft in a generic collector peice so it bolts right in to the stock exhaust with no other modifications. I also added a O2 sensor bung for my second O2 sensor. I got some 2000 degree adhesive radiant heat sheild material for the underside of the hood, hopefully it works too.

Here it is:

Looks good man. I remember when I did the same project.

Can you explain a bit more about what you did? I don't have any welding tools but a buddy of mine might help me do this.

You get a stock tube manifold from a '96 or '97 camry for like $40 and either modify it to fit of modifying your exhaust to fit the camry header. In this case I cut the camry piece just blow the collector, added a new peice to reposition things so it bolted right up to my stock exhaust and added an O2 sensor bung that I got from jegs for like $3. There are a ton of threads on this if you search around you can probably get a better idea than this. This is just my take on it.

why not just buy one.

Because I have more time and tools than money... :)
