If they not broke do you just take out the old ones and replace them without removing the cams and all the other work?

Anybody have a part #?

I''ve got 133,000 on my car and it runs great. So I assume that the bolts are overdue to be changed out so just change them as preventative maintanance?

I've had many nice cars, and some way more expensive but I think I'm having more fun driving this car than any of the others.

Somethin' about it...

Yes, if they havent ever been changed probably something good to do.

and AFAIK if they are not broken just a normal bolt

I just changed the out on my new gts, it had 127k and the bolts were not broken. I dont have the part number off hand but i think its in the how to thread Smay wrote.

im not sure if i listed the part number or not. but just the change the bolt you do not have to remove the cams. just the valve cover. my guide shows everything

Thanx for the info guys will check on the part number. I remember in Smaay's thread there was a picture of the lift bolt and looked like a part number was visible on the package...
