View Full Version : Thinking about buying my Little Bro a Celica....

My bonus this year is going to be a bit larger than I was expecting and I have a 16 year old little brother that I'm thinking about buying a car for. Pics are below. Will be going to look at it this afternoon to see how it drives, looks, etc.

Seller states no leaks engine nor convertible top wise. Possibly needs a new clutch in the future at some point, but engine runs well etc..167,000miles. What would you guys say is a fair price for this Celica?

Couple hundred ;)
I wouldnt give more than $1200.

By a cheap honda cause he will wreck it, then after his first wreck
get a toyota. I donno if I have met a person who didnt wreck their
first car.

What they said above.

The '89 in the garage I bought for under 300bux. The one I'm driving now I also bought for about 300bux. If it's how they say it is, I'd toss $900 his way see if he bites.

I didn't wreck my first car either. Clutch went out and i traded it in, then I destroyed my second car :)

Well, going to have to scrap that idea then. Seller was wanting around 1500. Oh well. Will keep looking

I didnt wreck my first car... i got hit sitting at a red light by a woman doing abt 50mph.... absolutely totaled the car

I did damaged Fury once tho... hit a patch of ice in HS and tires completely lost traction, ended up spinning some and hitting a pole on the rear passenger quarter panel and a small tree with the passenger side front fender, and cracked the bumper... all but the bumper have been fixed entirely.

no more then 1500, it does look like its in really good shape, bot i do agree go low and see what happens:)

Honestly, a 4th gen Vert in good shape is going to command more money than a standard 4th gen.

If that car is clean, and straight, its worth 1500 bucks.
