Something about using 5th gen springs on the 4th? Or maybe it was 6th gen on the 5th. I donno. Trying to find something besides B&G, i thought eibach made some but I cant find them on the interwebs, and i cant locate the intrax either.

Um... I dunno...

Why not!? It was either springs, or struts, one of the two....
On another note... I have some Tein springs I had on my lancer for a while, think they will fit my 4th gen? lol

I think our resident black man actually did a thread on the interchangeability of the different gens...

I don't know about springs...

but I know the st185 to st165 coilovers are a possiblity. There's adapters that can be purchased to make them fit. Same goes for the st182 to the st162. There's a guy on ebay who actually sells coilovers for whatever (including the st162) for the price of the megans.

I think maybe you were thinking of this (http://www.celicatech.com/forums/showthread.php?51897-Another-Spring-Thread) thread because Chris mentioned putting a set of prosports on the 6g, and 5g and 6g are interchangeable from what I hear.

You talkin about the $50 coil overs some guy sells for like every car ever made? Those sound crappy as hell. I havent look at anything over $250 cause thats outa the budget, so I may not have seen them.

No these are full custom coilover kits similar to Megans, D2, etc. Company out in Europe builds them. IIRC it's like 850 or 950 shipped anywhere. Similar in quality to the Megans, fully adjustable all 4 corners, all cartridge units, etc.

yeah..... thats not happening lol. What happened to the old school days of just cutting a wrap off the spring and calling that lowered?! Jk tho.
Any other options? Looks like B&G is my only real option

I just donno if I can afford to drop $400 on new struts and springs right now :(
Struts are a must... think the factory springs will be ok? Im sure they arent as stiff as factory and I worry they will blow my new struts...
