29502949Hi, I bought these for my car a couple of days ago, but I have the acorn style lugnuts and I am pretty sure these arenot going to work for this rim. Would you need mag style ones to make these work, or is it a totally different lugnut altogether? I think the rims were originally made for the 00-05 celicas, and I am hoping to put them on a 90 celica. And can anyone recomend a good brand that wont get stripped out easy. Thanks, Crystal

Those actually look like they MIGHT work with the acorn ones to be honest.

Is there a way to tell for sure. I just dont want to mess anything up driving on them. Thanks, Crystal

If the acorn lugnut fits down into the hole and sits flush (you can see a depressed ring around the holes on those, which appear to indicate acorns work), it is fine.

Like Luni says it looks like the stock lug nuts might fit. If you want get stock 00-05 celica lugs for those wheels and you know for sure they would fit.

If those are OEM Toyota alloys (which they look like 7th Gen GT wheels) you'll need the washered lug nuts. The depression may have been made by someone using the acorns on them (which is NOT right).

Shit, saved by Joey.

My lugnuts for my 7th gen are washered. Theyre not acorn style. Just realized that.

Those are the ones. If they're OEM toyota wheels they'll usually say somewhere on the wheel. Usually on the inside on one of the spokes.

^ yup, you need the "washered" kind, like the ones you posted from ebay.

i also had to get some of those when i got my 7th gen rims, since the acorn lugs i had did not seat properly.

You sure? The small picture next to the big one looks like it has the celica center cap with the blue on it. It's the same center cap my rims had......or so it seems from the size of the pic.

Hello everyone, The rims that i got are like the small picture. My computer would not read my card for my camera so I looked on ebay for a similar wheel. The ones that I have have the Toyota emblem and blue around it. Ended up ordering the lug nuts like the ones that I posted but for 1990 oem. I hope they work. Anyways thanks to everybody on here for taking their time to help other people in need. Thanks again, Crystal
