this one.. im basicly looking for something that i can play my iphone into so i can play pandora.. im tired of using a fm modulator and my stock radio because it sounds like crap

looks like for right around $600 i can get that and the adapter to keep my steering wheel controls.. and if i want to drop a extra $100 i can get a back up camera

It's not a bad deal. The Pioneers have always been pretty solid units. Go for it!

Get a blueray player. DVD player's are old technology.

Only problem with that... it looks like the iPod connection turns the DVD player into a host device and reads the music off the iPod/iPhone instead of simply listening to the audio it's outputting. I think you'll need to simply use the Aux port on it. Unless you keep music on your device, then you could just plug it in directly.

Usually these decks just treat the device as an external hard drive when playing music from it's hard drive.

I like the fact that you can navigate and rate pandora from the deck now.

Pioneer is known for making good interfaces with the iPod, so I would say get it.

Look up the video's on it. They show them actually demoing it's functionality.
