Ok so I bought a nitrous express kit the other day from a friend for 150...just because it was so cheap. Its a 10lb bottle, 100 wetshot, single fogger. Comes with both solenoids, all the lines, button, bottle, and the basics. My friend offered me his bnib greddy emanage blue as a trade. But I've been told the blue isn't very good...is it still worth the trade? Id like the have the emanage ultimate (the black one).

I would trade NOS for the emanage.

I'd take the nitrous, find a different tuning solution.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I guess my main question should be what's the difference between the ultimate and the blue?

Crap, I now have two different opinions..

Don't touch the emanage. Not worth messing with. Keep the nitrous. If you don't use it, sell it.

Ehhh. What's wrong with emanage? I'm looking mostly to control my air to fuel ratio. I know apexi has the safc but greddy seems to have a better product.

Didn't you just blow your engine??

Sadly yes, its blown beyond what my funds allow. I'm getting marcos longblock from him this week. I would rebuild mine if I had th money and time but it would be more efficient to buy one that's got all the parts I want already installed for the same price as what it would cost to get just the parts. And that's not including regrounding the crank and what not. I won't be able to get the experience of replacing pistons and everything but I will be learning quite a bit about our motors when I tear the old one apart.

I bought the nitrous a week before my engine gave any sign of going out. Afterwards, I was looking around for a greddy emanage ultimate when my friend mentions he had a bnib emanage blue which if I'm basically getting it for 150 (which is what I got the nos for) then I figured it was worth it. It may not be the best system out there according to some but I'm workin with what I've got. And I'm just prepping for my new motor.

Emanage blue is about the same as running an safc.. don't use it on a 3sgte ecu. Emanage ultimate will work, but at that price its almost worth going for a powerFC or used AEM.

I vote vipp09s answer as the best one...actually explained the reasoning. thanks man. ill tell my friend that id rather trade for something else. maybe some 800cc injectors? :P

Build your new engine for saftey, then do power.
