All right - you are all correct - I MAY have been presumptuous starting this thread.

I already have some pics - lots of them - leading off to the "kick-off" of this project.

Yet I have large logistical difficulties - that I hope to have solved by the end of the next weekend so I can really start to work on my AllTrac.

The primary difficulties i have, logistically speaking, is the the fact that I have a very large slope to my driveway - and a single car garage. I have a good flat place to work from about four foot in front of my garage and another ten to twelve feet into my garage - when I run out of room due to work bench space, I also have a dirt place large enough for a Celica beside my garage.

I have, in the last couple of weeks, managed to "reclaim" my garage from 10 odd years of home life, and now have a clean area and the tooling. Yet I have my GTS parts car right smack in front of my garage blocking everything. My original plan had been to start this car with rod knock and move it to my place on the side of the garage. Yet this engine is seized up - and I will need to get a wrecker to come move it for me. I first need to prepare a plywood "platform" to set it on - so I can jack it up safely and get the parts off of it.

So - this is where I am at in my project - this weekend I will rent a truck to haul some junk out of this pace and also to bring three sheets of plywood and some 2X4 to build a "deck" for the parts car - and then have a wrecker install the GTS in it's final resting place (till the junk man commeth). With this deck I will be able to safely jack the think up and rape it for parts.

Then - I will be able to get the Alltrac into a place where I can get it up "ultra-safe" - and take pics and thus "take inventory" to decide if this car is truly worth the investment of money, blood, and sweat I would put in it to bring it back to what it could be. I have all the elements - I have tools - I have some know-how, I have this car - and I have a pristine widebody parts car I paid next to nothing for.

I want this car - I want it allot - and I am not like Facime - I still fall in love with both women and cars - I just never got "smart".

But I ain't dumb either - I didn't just fall off the last wagon load of turnips that pulled into town - I know a lost cause when I see it - and that is why I want to "take inventory".

So - that will be my first post above on my project thread - the "front and back story" of getting this car - and the cold hard facts of "taking inventory" that make me decide whether to keep this car.

Sorry if this story is taking some time to develope - but stay tunes - I AM working on it.
