Was taking out the rear boxes, about the time I got the last bolt out of the driver side box, it fell over and splashed water everywhere! It was full to the brim! I looked around and there are no rust spots where water could have ben coming thru the hatch... hell did it come from!? It has been in my shop since I picked her up so its been full since I brought her home. Murg did you piss in the box before I got there?!

The rear windows are leaking....pull the windows and reseal or pull the full rear interior and have someone hose down the car while u look to see where they r leaking at and just reasl that part.....its pretty easy. Mine where filled to the brim too.

Take the side windows out and re-seal them
water flows in like this -

Also check for rust under the trims and roof (red)

What's with the ghey comments?

The other problem I found is that the rear window surround mounts rust - water enters near the sprayer and is diverted by the trim inside the screen
to the sides or the car.

Pull the trim and check for rust, if so you have a rusted lid.

A sure sign of future problems

Another thing to check is water entering from the lid strut mounts, lift them and check. I've heard of water running down thru
the bolt holes
