I approve of Eclipse as a brand. Hell, I have Eclipse component speakers, subs and amps in both cars, so you could say I'm a fan. This is their lower tier of speakers. Good quality speakers with a clear sound quality, but if you are thinking of amping them, you may want to step up to the next tier in their brand for more performance.

I guess I should say what Im planning for haha. No amp. You would think me being MECP certified, I would make a awesome sound system, but I really dont care for it.
I wana use the stock 4th gen speaker boxes also, so I think that means 4" is the biggest I can go front and rear. Correct me if Im wrong. Mafix had a sticky on his site about speaker sizes but its down ATM.

I think Ima get those Eclipse se4000's for the front, and some power acoustik xps-104 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22655_Power-Acoustik-XPS-104.html) mid drivers for the rear

Fpr the fronts, for the money, you cant get any better than these

Ideally you want components in the front, and some coaxials in the rear for a good soundstage. CDT is a good brand. Thats a really good price on those. Their sensitivity is high enough you can run them off a good deck and not NEED an amp, though an amp would be better.

As for rears, Those eclipses you posted would be good. I dont like putting NICE speakers in the rear. The sound is just rear fill. It doesnt need to sound really good, just make some noise and not be overbearing on the fronts.

What kind of head unit are you planning on running? In my opinion your head unit is the most important part of your system.

Ill be using my Jensen UV10 7" touchscreen. Its not a powerhouse, but it has controls for every octive range and sub control. I got looking in its book last night and found it only has like 15w per channel, which surprised me cause in my lancer, it rocks very nice.

Also Luni, those speakers you linked....way outta my budget lol.
Im lookin like $60 for fronts and rear.

Most aftermarket radios put out between 15-20 RMS per channel, so that is no big surprise.
