First owned car was a 1997 Toyota Tercel. I was the 2nd owner of the car and I bought it in 1999 (gifted to a guy's son that I work with 216,000km upon departure with a new radiator)
Second car owned was a 1987 Toyota Supra MKIII. I was the 22nd owner of the car, it lived most of its life between dealerships and I took possession about 5 years ago. (gifted to a guy who's garage burnt down and was robbed. 206,000Km upon gifting yet it still sits on my lawn next to his 1992 Toyota Cressida with a 7M swap) It has 358hp to the rear tires and about $10K under the hood.
Third car is my JDM 1990 Celica GT-Four. I am the 3rd owner on the car and it just hit 118,000km. I bought it November 2009 fully compliant to Canadian conversion laws. It is my DD and I love it to death.

First car was a 1989 dodge colt early '97 i believe....had that for 9 months before some granny took me out.

Second car was a 1981 ford courrier...which I bought for a project (100 bucks) about a month after I got the colt. It had a cracked block I found out....I traded strsight across for my third car......

Third was a 1973 ford courrier...... drove it off and on for 6 years before the brakes finally seized and I scrapped her in 2003.

After the colt got smashed I bought a 1984 dodge daytona turbo in 1999....for 700 bucks..... drove great till the hg went out about a year later...had plans to fix but she sat there till I sold her in 2004.

I purchased my next on from a car lot in 2003...I was pleased with it...it was 1997 ford escort...... I drove this and did some minor fixings to it. Had a kit with rims and so on......I wish I could find all of the pics I took over the years......

I had her till she was stolen in early 2005..... she was stripped for everything they wanted..... the police found her upside down in a lake.....someone had lost control of her and landed there....I wished for so long that they were still trapped in it...lol

I bought my f350 with the payout on the escort in 2005.... still drive this one from day to day.

bought the trailer for a cheap 27k in 2006...still have it today.

I purchased my 2005 chevy 2500 in 2006 (above) from a car lot....I paid it off and walked away with the title. still own it today.

Then my parents inherited a toyota celica coupe...they gave it to me in early 2009 and I wrecked it in july of that same year.

I bought my current celica for 400 bucks and through the motor from the wrecked on into this one.

I then bought a 1988 celica gts for a parts car for 300 bucks ..... stripped her for what i wanted and then sold her when finances got too hard.
i sold this car to now a member here......(themonthof1988)

1st driver was my parents 8(3)? Toy small pickup long box, 5 speed. Throttle used to stick in cold weather. Its now sitting in my uncles front yard with bad trans and over 200k on it. Probably until it becomes a rust stain on the ground.

1st car I owned was 83 Ford Escort. Couldnt drive it in the rain because water got in somewhere and couldnt go faster than 5 mph.

2nd car was 86 Honda Prelude automatic. Awsome car and fun. One of the last carbed honda preludes.

3rd was 92 Toy 4Runner 5spd (RustyRunner, SleepyRunner). 97k.

4th was 69 Mustang Grande (Candy) project car. Rust bucket. Never got the engine in it, parted it out.

5th was 69 Mustang Coupe (LA Blue Girl). 351W C4 auto. Edelbrock Performer heads, cam. Custom rear end with 3.5 gears and Trac Lok.

6th was 89 Mustang GT 5spd (Mary). 5.0 HO. Trick Flow heads, cam. BBK SSI intake. Custom MAF.

7th was 94 Toy Celica GT 5spd (Green Goblin). 197k. Daily driver.

8th was 90 Toy Celica All Trac (Project A-Ko). 92 JDM swap.

Nice photo history.

I've had way to many vehicles to even remember let along make a list of. I'm a bit of a horse trader. I've had my Celica Since March 8, 2006. That's the longest I have held on to any vehicle.

First can I had was a hand-me-down: maroon '96 For Explorer. It was awesome at the time because I was in marching band and four of my friends and I could load up with all of our band gear and go.

2nd car was an early high school graduation gift: 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix in that gold-ish color. That got hit by a one of my school-mates, and her insurance paid for my 3rd car.

3rd car was a 2000 Honda Accord EX-V6 with all the bells and whistles in the same gold-ish color the Grand Prix was. I decided I didn't need a sedan, so I sold it.

4th and current car is my '93 Aquamarine Pearl MR2 with t-tops, black leather interior, premium sound, and my first 5-speed.

:short list member:

Bought a 1994 Dodge Neon base model (5sp, manual windows/locks) in 2001 when I was 18. Blew the clutch after a missed double clutch shift (clutch cable was wearing out). Grenaded pressure plate which took out the transmission, clutch cable and shift linkage. This car was as pictured below (same color and hubcaps).

Traded the Neon in for a 1992 Honda Civic DX liftback. Bounced off a curb and street sign and then off the back of a parked car on a highway offramp who had no lights on at 3am. Ripped off passanger side front quarter panel, hood and drove until it couldn't drive anymore (about 3 weeks). Left it parked in a great neighborhood where it was stripped that night. Car was as pictured below (same color and steelies).

Went without any wheels for a while, then bought a 1992 YZR600rr. Same color scheme as pictured below. Traded that for an old Poniac Firebird and sold it the same day to a collector and doubled my cash (only had it for a day, don't even remember what it looked like).

Few months later inherited the 1986 GMC S-15 Jimmy from her parents. Rebuilt the weak 2.8 v6 and romped the shit out of that thing for a few years. Traded it in after putting 150k on the new engine build for the 2002 Mazda 626.

Wife's current car, a 2002 Mazda 626. Bought it with 29k on the clock, currently has 169k miles and counting. Same color/wheels as pictured. Just needs a good wash/wax/buff/polish job on it.

Few years later bought Celibaby (1989 Celica GT) with a blown HG. Fixed the HG, drove it for few weeks until something else went. Ended up selling it to a friend for $500 who blew the engine and demanded her $$$ back. Gave her back the $500, and donated Celibaby to a kids foundation for $500.

From there turned and bought the 2005 Hyundai Accent and replaced the transmission after we had it for 60k miles. Looks like this but green, and the trunk, tailight and rear bumper cover are fucked up.

Which leads me to about a year ago when I bought Jasmine for a couple hundred with a spun rod bearing.

I have owned a lot of cars.

There was a thread around here somewhere that we listed them all in. I think it was in OT.

'Nother short lister here.

First car, 90 Celica, off the road currently for an engine rebuild, but otherwise has been my DD since I was 16.

Second car was a 77 Celica. Cause of death was me thinking a 7mge swap would be easy-peasy. It's not.

Third car is a 1990 Mazda RX-7. Kinda fell into this one. Currently my DD, and the rotary has been surprisingly reliable (*knocks on wood*) despite some bad luck.

Nice looking Mazda... I want details on that Caddy next to you.

That is a `58 Chevrolet. The Cadillac didn't have the dual lights in the grill.

Nice looking Mazda... I want details on that Caddy next to you.

IIRC, it was a Chevy Impala. But that's all I know, it was just on the same truck as a car my mom was having shipped, and had to be moved off. Here's the full picture.

Where exactly are these sitting?

LOL do you want the coordinates, and keys?

They are at my old house in Scottsdale.

01-27-2011, 12:37 AM
somewhere you cant "see" them. lol

LOL here's the best I can do for "see"ing them. (from Google Satellite Maps, yeah, that's how long they've been sitting)

Red is all-trac
Green is skyline (in garage)
Blue is MR2 drag car.

The plan is to bring the all-trac out to FL after I get back from Italy in June-ish, and to use that as a project car for the next couple years. Then to build up an RB26 N1 block for the skyline. Not sure what I want to do about rebuilding the drag car... That car has alot of sentimental value, but it will need ALOT of TLC to make it drive-able again.
