Rear discs were an option on the GT, and there are rare dealer-optioned ST with them in North America. The All-trac, of course, had all-wheel discs but it was a somewhat beefier system.

It's not uncommon to swap the rear discs onto a Celica which came with rear drums.

Ok, and to expand on the topic a little....

If I read correctly you have differant rear discs also correct?

1. GT/GT-S brakes
2. Vert brake
3. All trac brakes

I know the all-trac uses differant calipers and larger discs right? and the vert discs are larger diameter than the GT (did I read right?

It depends upon the year -- which models shared what parts changed over the fifth-generation's lifespan.

So far as I have ever seen.

All GT-S models had rear disks
All ST models had rear drums
All Alltracs had rear disks (thankfully)
90-91 GT models had rear drums
92-93 GT models had rear disks.

Check this (http://www.buybrakes.com/brembo/am-apps-Toyota.html) page to see which ones had the same sizes as one another.

Hope this helps.

I'm not taking this as holy scrit, but this (http://www.buybrakes.com/store/BR21069) seems to suggest that 92-93 st's had rear drums.

Correct me if I'm wrong. (seriously!)

Yes, you are correct, the ST had drums. My son had a 93 ST and it had drums.

Though there were some dealer-optioned versions which came with extra goodies -- e.g. STX. Confusing part is that different regions had different trim packages with varying options assigned to similar badging.
