Bought a turbo off a guy at mr2oc advertised as a ATS ct27 for $450 he got it shipped out very quickly and was pleasant to deal with. Once I received the package I opened it up and pulled the exhaust housing off and sure enough it is only an ATS ct26 upgrade, still a decent turbo and I would buy it but its not worth the original price. I offered to send it back for a refund or keep it if he refunds me $100 which should be a fair price for a used ct26+. My concern is how do I go about this politely and fairly without getting screwed over as I have never had to use paypal dispute and never had a bad transaction over forums. Advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.

p.s. current prices for used ct27's usually match ct20b's which are in the $500-400 range and ats' ct26+ is just a bigger compressor wheel which would put it between the price of a ct20b and a stock ct26 which should sell for a little over $125, this is where I got my offer back of $350 from since I have never seen a ats ct26+ in the used market.

Just be polite, and tell him the item isn't what he described.

Let him know you paid for a ct27 and got something less and you want to pay less.

Its his fault for being ignant, but be nice...at first lol

I didn't realize upgraded/rebuilt ct26s were that dirt cheap these days....

Well I'm basing my prices off of mr2oc which should be the deffinative price guideline for the 3s-gte.
