Having a hard time even navigating around. noticing lots of double posts. Sometimes the site doesnt even load at all.
I suspect you are working on this, just didnt notice anyone else post on the topic so I wanted to be sure it wasnt just me.

its me too... Murgatroy just triple posted lol but the slow-ness turns into it not even loading... I posted two pics in the Post A Pic of Yourself thread, and i had to hit F5 at least 6 times before closing the internet and pulled it up again.

It is being discussed at the Adult Table right now. It is a server issue, not a software issue. We are trying to streamline it and help it out before we take more drastic measures.

yep, felt like a server issue to me. Its better right now, hope it stays that way.

Thanks for the update

^LOL

Report from Luni is that a memory leak was found and has now been fixed. Hopefully this clears things up.

Guys do me a favor and if something doesnt POST dont keep reloading until it does. More often than not that PHP string was loaded into memory and will execute even if you dont see a result from it.

But yes, the issue that has been plaguing the site for awhile SHOULD be fixed. Hopefully the memory leak doesnt come back, but if it starts running like ass we know what it SHOULD be and its easily addressed.

At least for me today - the site is very slow and long delays to load pages.

I have had some problems with another site as well - so maybe it is my connection.

I'm on my iPhone and it seems fine to me...

We're seeing an average query time of .05 seconds, which is incredibly fast compared to even the smaller forums on the net.

Yea - I think I have some "issue" of my own here at home - perhaps my WAP as I'm using my laptop wireless.

I even have trouble with the Microchip website - and they are a major corporation and all.

Yep - fixed my problem that was here at home - as speeds here at the Klapa Komplex had really slowed to a CRAWL.

I was hampered by the fact that I no longer could get into my modem to see what speed it was tuned up to - the darn thing has been running 24/7 for about five years now (except for power outages) and I forgot the password! I finally found an old UNIX script file I had written back when I had a dynamic IP to send me emails when the IP changed and at least figured out the user password so I could at least see the link status - and I saw the modem was tuned up for 8 Mb/sec downstream - so then I knew it was an internal problem.

I had an old 10-base T hub on in the path between my Cayman DSL router and the internal network and this seems to have gone tits-up. Taking this out of the path makes a world of difference.

I did a speed test earlier today on dslreports.com and got 111 Kb/sec down and 22 Kb/sec up! Same test to same server now gives me 4.21 Mb/sec down and 421 Kb/sec up. A little bit of an improvement I would think.
