I'm not a fan of either, as they have rivet/screw looking things.

I personally like the split spokes better just because the solid spoke is SOOOoooo common. They do look a little like a Tc wheel though. not sure thats good or bad.

I had the same wheels on my old 92. I liked them a lot, but they got old and damaged. :P

Tc wheels look fairly good, I think they would work nice on a Celica.

I've got the tC wheels on my 165, I think they look alright. I'd prefer a somewhat less "busy" wheel though (and lighter) if I had the luxury of being choosy about it. Same with the wheels in the first post, I think they've got too much going on with them. Simpler is better IMO

heres the first thing,
find a rim thats not 17x7 with a +42 offset because they are going to sink wayyy to much into your wheel wells.
find something 17x8 with a +32 offset so it will be more flush.

17x7 +42 will honestly, look like garbage.

The second design looks like a copy of the XXR wheel.
Split spoke can look good. These are 18x9.5 though. Don't get less than an 8" wide wheel whatever you do.

XXR 502. They offer them in 8.5 width as well.

Shit 18" looks huge.. Looks really good tho... Lol I Think I'd have to roll my fenders a bunch for 17s

It all depends on tire size and offset. I had 17x7s and they were the same rolling diameter as stock. You can run 18s and rubberband sidewalls with no rubbing. If you are going to run any decent width though you will need to likely roll the rear lip. Its not that big a deal to do if you read up on it.

I could not agree more. I have the +42 offset 17x7 scion tc rims on my 92 wide body gts right now and they look like shit. Do you think that the +32 offset will sit flush on a wide body 92 celica gts or will i need something staggered to sit flush in the front and rear like these(pictured below)?

Dang, freaking wheels are so expensive... does anyone know how much the stock ones weigh though?

Before I get another email, the celica I posted above is not mine.
Mine is below. My rims look aright too. ;)

Can't say I like either of those choices. No offense meant by this but they look like rims you can buy at Wal Mart.

Yes, I've run a 18x8.5+30 on a narrow body with a 215 tire, if you have a wide body you could run a wider tire.

Hello!
I need an advice: I want to buy some new rims for my st182 (5th gen 2,0gt-i) celica. I think the factory wheels are 15x6 et45 (with 195/60 r15 tyres). Can I buy a set of new rims with the parameters: 17x7.5 ET48? does the celica has enough place for this wide rim with this offset?
thank you for the answer!

Won't fit in the rear. It will hit the strut tube.
