Since generic racing seats usually come with sliders and not direct fit brackets, I need to know how to make a set work in my car.

How has anyone here used universal seats in their car? If anyone has any insight on how to install them, share!

Measure the distance between your current seat brackets and their bolt holes, and see if they're the same as your aftermarket seats.
If they are, easy work. Bolt your old rails to the new seats.
If not, here's where you'll have to fabricate.

Usually, it's as easy as getting two pieces of steel and making a template. Bolt the seat brackets to the steel, then bolt the steel to either the new seat or its seat rails.
