I feel dumb.
Since the dragon reduced my breaks to a steaming pile of slag, I decided change was in order.
After getting defective and wrong calipers from autozone for the last few months, I finally have all the parts.

I have gotten everything appart, and almost back together, but for the life of me, I can't figure out where these two wire thingies go.
They weren't anywhere when I took the breaks off the car,
and even though the BGB shows them, it doesn't give me a clue of where the attach.

Any insight = Big help.

Yep, that's where they go. Provides a bit of tension so when you let off the brakes the pads don't ride on the rotors.

Perfect, I hope my brake job lasts longer then the one the guy who sold me the car did.
Melted after a year of occasional driving.

They go toward each other, not under the caliper mount.

yup. they should point inside or its gonna rub against the rotor if you have them under the caliper mount.
