What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting out of your swaps and under what kind of driving conditions/habits(how often do you boost, city driving, and etc)?

Reason I ask is because my engine seems to love the gas. Even when I stay out of the boost. I haven't filled up and seen exactly what kind of mileage i'm getting but i plan to daily drive it for the next few days to find out.

In my MR2 I get between 17-20mpg. Only time I've gotten better than that was when I drove a ton of freeway.

A mix of in town and highway, going back and forth to work, I'm getting 23 give or take a little. On the highway, I've gotten as high as 28. I get into the boost most days but not peaked out and not all the time.

Hmm, I didn't think about that.

Varies wildly based on how much I'm in the boost usually. But given how rich the ECU runs these cars, it's not going to set any fuel economy records any time soon. :)

I've found the 205 to be better actually, despite more power/larger injectors.

At least I know it's normal to go through gas. I filled up this morning on my way to work so I'll see what I average.

13-14 in my 165, Yeah, I know something is wrong with it.. probably more than one thing. It's a JDM 1st gen btw, hits 13-16psi regularly.

93 MR2 was usually around 18mpg at 1bar on a 60-1 modified ct26 (slightly better when not boosting much, which was almost never).

i've gotten 32mpg once on the highway driving home from Cali with no boost & drafting behind someone going 80mph the whole way. i've always been into getting the most mpg's i can on a road trip long before this "hypermiling" bullcrap.
it was nice with cruise control, reminded me a lot of my Camry that day :)

around the city with boost & having fun it's more like 19-21mpg & highway with boost is about 25mpg.
i didn't buy the car for mpg records though - it's for enjoying with my foot to the floor.
i've got my Camry for showing off on mpg ;)
