I am a guy from canada who is interested in celicas and V6 camrys
I currently own both.
I am finnishing a 3S-GTE swap in my 1989 celica GT
the engine is from a USDM st185
engine management is with a megasquirt
transmission is an e150f converted to FWD

I intend on tuning the megasquirt myself.
I first bougth it real cheap from a guy with a neon SRT4
added a board to be able to use our crank sensors, transistor for boost control.
and hardware for a bosch IAC.

I first made it work on a 1st gen 3S-GE on a bench test. after it was sufficiently convincing i started working on the 3S-GTE.
This 3S-GTE was given to me in exchange for my first ST162, that engine had no turbo ,manifold, no wiring and no ecu.

my first goal was to use a chipped honda ecu to control the engine. + their distributor and MAP sensor
this was achieved on the 3S-GE but as time passed the megasquirt came to me and i lost interest in using the honda ECU for a boosted application.

Here are my pictures
my second celica( the actual one) the last one was indentical ,except a 88 model, i had the other 6 years
this time i invested more on repairs and upgrades. converted to rear disc and 5x100, eibach pro kit, kyg gr2, mostly every superpro bushings ,battery in the trunk
car last year before rear disc and 5x100
my two celica the day i bought the second( first in the picture)
the old one was rusted more and was having a bad electrical problem(solved::watch your contact on the contact switch, they do corrode)

engine picture taken last week
the engine is an ST185 one, 3S-GE intake, 3S-GE electronics (controled with megasquirt + boost control) note on this picture the 3S-GE exhaust manifold, it was the first setup i wanted to have before turboing, but changed my mind.I choosed the 3S-GE intake for the ease of FMIC tubing, the ct26 is clocked downward

My newly bought 2 door 1995 camry
1MZ-FE v6 194hp + E153 exedy clutch, ,some mods in suspension ,braking, apperance, nice engine,simple,abundant(except for the manual configuration)
,cheap fun would defenitely like one in my celica,but not with the OEM ECU
