So, ever since I picked up this 92 Celica, I've had a pesky power steering leak, fluid everywhere, no idea where it was coming from. Read lots of posts here and figured the most likely source was the high pressure hose. Ordered up some parts but have been dreading replacing this hose. Finally decided to take the plunge yesterday and attack it. It went way better than I expected. Replaced the HP hose and the return hose. Also replaced a torn boot on the passenger side of the steering cylinder. Hope I didn't wait too long on that, it was shot!

Also did plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and an oil change while I was at it...

It was a pretty productive day.

Thanks. 1stToyotaparts rocks. Been giving them business for a long time. And I have plenty of Yota's to wrench on.

My new 3 car shop should be up in a couple months too... :)

I actually work @ Titus-Will Toyota as a tech. The parts department is the one that operates 1sttoyotaparts (previously was Burien Toyota). Kick ass dude, I should have a lift in my shop within the next two months (thank you for upgrades to the dealership :) )

Very cool! I had an electrician at the house giving me an estimate and we talked about a car lift. A buddy of his had just picked one up from the old Heartland Toyota here in Bremerton. I'm still contemplating that one.

Maybe I should go a little higher on my shop roof :)

Make sure to have the floor thick enough. 5" would be perfect. I think the standard is 4... which isn't quite up to spec.

The concrete would be the easy part. The ceiling clearance would be my problem... :)

Definitely need the beer fridge. TV is kind of a distraction I'd think.

The wife is a distraction I'd think... TV may keep her away?

I was at the Toyota Fest last year... in my MR2 Spyder. I want to make it this year, but I may be in Japan that week for a business trip.

But I'm usually out wheeling in the Landcruiser or the FJ Cruiser...

Diggin up this old thread. My garage is done, went ahead and bought a new 10K Rotary lift to put in. It'll be here Wednesday.

Just got home from Japan, was there for all the crap that went down. May go back soon, but not sure yet.
