I am going to begin rebuilding my fuel pump relay within the next few days because no store carries this relay. (ghey)

Advice for going forward?

Pics of the relay tomorrow.

Are you talking about the Circuit Opening Relay (which is the only relay controlling the fuel pump), located on a bracket connected to the ECU?

I might have one or two extra. If I do, I can send you one. I'm not sure how you would open this relay up without breaking the plastic cover on it (I think it is glued or ultrasonically sealed to the base).

Is it different than a normal 5 pin relay?

I don't have an answer for that question - as I don't know what a "normal" 5-pin relay is.

I also have several relays. Tell us what kind it is and i'm sure one of us may have one to give to you.

why are you rebuilding a relay when you can make some kind of kill switch?

I resoldered the joints on the relay and it works fine now.
