Well, I am in the process of rebuilding my engine and OE gaskets are 280 bucks. My question is about the gasket sets on ebay for 80 dollars from Eristic. Anyone use them? Of course I would us everything but the head gasket. You think that will be fine?

*sigh* Money Money Money... its all it is now a days. But I guess I don't feel like redoing it 5,000 niles down the road.

this is why you do it right the first time. yes it costs more but the parts are 10 million times better.

Well I though I would ask because I work at a shop and everytime I used fel-pro gaskets, I never had one leak on me. A head gasket fail... yes but as far as valve cover and other gaskets... no. Shit, Fel-pro wants 189 for top gaskets and 80 for lower gaskets which include everything And I called toyota and with my commercial discount it was 227 out the door which is the way to go. I was just curious about the eristic set.

Went to toyota... I asked them if I could use a USDM gasket kit on the JDM motor and they said they did not know so that is my final question about this subject... Will a USDM gasket set fit the JDM engine? Its a 92 3S-GTE

Yep, no issue there. (usdm vs jdm)

You could always just buy individual gaskets that you require. But it's hard to remember everything that you'll need.

DO NOT BUY , i just put my 4agze together with a ebay kit (not the headgasket tho, got a new toyota one for that) and everything leaked immediatly, so i had to redo all of it with toyota gaskets. Just buy the set. Its worth it a million times over.

yea a usdm gasket kit will be fine.
