after about 6 months my friend offered to swap me his fresh rebuilt 16v and almost everything to convert it to a JDM map ecu setup and enough parts to build a turbo engine. so i said fine, its going to his starlet now and its gonna be sweet so I didnt mind trading.

here it is at the dragon in 09 with said 16v

then i found this at the junkyard
holy 4agze for 160 dollars.

rebuilt with new bearings and rings and a rehone. garrett t25 that shall boost that mo fo.

rebuilt 16v out for new 4agze block

as it sits now.

only waiting on my iintercooler to be rewelded. then mounted and off to boost land i go.

heres the setup

stock 4agze bottem end. fresh.
ebay manifold
t25 from a skyline
2.5 inch downpipe
starion intercooler
safc neo
zeitronix wideband
lots of time

runs like a champ, i drove it around with the new engine and stock header and it ran great, nice power and had good compression for a new engine. soooo I hope it hold up to the snail.

Cool heat shield. So you just gonna run usdm GZE electronics?

Are those supra wheels polished? Is that the way they came stock?

andy

Okay, pictures work fine, must have just been either that laptop or the fact that I was tethered through my phone.

So JDM GZE bigport electronics? Or the same ECU you were running before?

I guess I gotta polish my wheels. That's gonna take some time.

What are you going to do about your distributor cap? Just going to let it melt?

He's got header wrap on the pipe close to the MC. He can also buy an mr2 dizzy from me if he wants to.

MR2 dizzy isn't going to work with his setup. The JDM map sensor setup uses a different dizzy.

ill believe it when i see it.

and ima have to build a heat sheild for the dizzy, its getting too hot. that or move the rotor and cap to the front camshaft and cap off the hall sensors.

we shall see. it was discolored before, now i think its going to melt.

drove car and the 1 bar map sensor aint havin it. fuel cut at 4 psi. feels and runs good besides that.

anyone have a 2 bar map sensor!?

oo and larry i have 2 mr2 dizzy and 2 ae86 dizzys. the one i have is JDM ae86 and is very different from the other two. only 3 wire output and required a complete new ignitor from a v6 to work. dont ask me why but i like this map system ALOT better.

Ditch that T25.

TD04-15T is the way to go.

I have a TD05-12B. Should I hang it off my 20v? I'm looking for about 6# boost.
